Type Alias: ModelParent

ModelParent = object

Where a model variant sits in the scene. Everything is optional, a model with no placement loads where its file puts it.

Properties​

kind​

readonly kind: "Product" | "Step"

What the model is attached to: the product's own model, or the model of another model step.

slotGroup?​

readonly optional slotGroup?: string

Together with slotIndex, the attachment point on the parent model that this model sits at.

slotIndex?​

readonly optional slotIndex?: number

stepName?​

readonly optional stepName?: string

The step name (the variant key) of the parent model. Only used when kind is "Step".
