Shopify is one of the largest e-commerce platforms with over 4.1 million merchants. Shopify has many features that make our job easier to integrate with merchants around the world. Merchants who are tech savvy have the flexiblity to integrate us via snippets which require you to understand the Shopify Liquid template language. If a merchant is not familiar with programming and/or doesn't want to spend resources and time on code, Shopify has a solution for that too with a feature called Theme App Extensions.

The Spiff Commerce theme app extension framework is a solution for merchants who don't want to get their hands dirty with code. You can add and customize the look and feel of a Spiff Commerce button all in the Shopify theme editor. The Spiff Commerce theme app extension is only compatible with themes that are updated to Shopify Online Store 2.0.

📄️Custom Code

Most stores should use the Personalize Button block, which launches your activation and adds the finished bundle to the cart for you. If you need full control, for example in a headless storefront, you can launch the experience yourself with the Hosted Experience API and add the items to the cart with Shopify's Ajax Cart API.
